 | Anna Maria Historic Pier or Bridge Street Pier -
this is a local shopping area in Bradenton Beach with a variety of
stores and places to eat & drink. If they have a web site, I
can't find it - but this is a great place to see and is about a 12
minute drive from the House. You will easily find it as it
intersects with the only "round-about" on the Island. There are
more than a dozen places to eat and drink here or nearby (within a 2
minute walk of the Pier. |

| Beach Unlimited - this is the place to get
beach and pool attire. If you need sandals to swim suits to
casual shirts to snorkel & fins to just plain beach junk - this is it.
They have a variety of everything and are located next to Publix.
The store is about a 7 minute drive from the house. |

| Bradenton Outlet Mall - this is a large
(flea market type) outlet mall and is located on Manatee Avenue - as
you drive back into town from the Beach House. It is about a 15

| City Pier Plaza - this is a small plaza with a
few stores, an ice cream shop, the post office, etc. and is located
within a 5 minute walk from the House. You can find some neat
Island stuff here and it is worthwhile checking it out. (not
sure if this is the real name - this is what I know it by) |

| DeSoto Square Mall - this is your
traditional large indoor mall. It is fairly easy to get to and
is located in downtown Bradenton. There is every type of store
you need here and can find nearly everything you need. It is about a 15 to 20 minute drive from the

| Ellington (Bradenton) Outlet Mall - this is
a huge outlet mall and people drive from all over to shop here.
It is about a 35 minute drive from the House and is back toward the

| Holmes Beach Plaza(s) - yes plural. I
am not sure of all the names, but there are several small strip areas
in Holmes Beach all right next to each other that offer a variety of
shopping. There are antiques to Island dress shops to a hardware
store, etc. There are also a number of places to eat and drink
in this area as well. You can park in a large parking area and
walk to everything. This is a 6 minute drive from the House.

| K-mart - a standard store you know about
where you can get a variety of items. The closet one is right on
Manatee Avenue, just before you leave the mainland and start on the
causeway to the Island. It is about a 15 minute drive from the
House and is at the intersection of 75th street and Manatee Avenue

| Red Barn - this is a very large Farmers
Market and Flea Market facility. It is fairly easy to get to and
is located in downtown Bradenton. They are open most days of the
week, have incredible variety of fruits and vegetables at great
prices. The stores number in the hundreds and it will take you
hours just to walk past everything. There are definitely
"bargains" here. It is about a 15 to 20 minute drive from the

| St. Armand's Circle - this is probably one
of my favorite place to shop, eat, and just hang-out. When you
have had too much Sun, go here. It is about a 30
minute very scenic drive from the House. You will be going South
off Anna Maria Island to Long Boat Key all the way South and off that
Island to reach St. Armand's. I have added a link - to their web

| Walmart - a standard store you know about
where you can get a variety of items. This one is a Supercenter
Walmart and has a grocery store, pharmacy, haircuts, you name it.
We actually have five (5) Walmart's in the Bradenton area. The
closet one is right on Cortez Road and is about a
20 minute drive from the House.
Note that the nearest location is a 24 hour - 7 day a week store - it is always open.
