| The following covers all of the Bedrooms and other possible sleeping arrangements at the Beach House. Some of this may seem obvious, but I have tried to answer as many questions as possible and by knowing this information “in advance”, you can do some planning before you get here. Note that all bedrooms have their own color TV with Direct TV Satellite control. The 3 upstairs bedrooms all have remote control ceiling fans and lights. All Bedrooms have alarm clocks and several have their own stereo system. | |||

|
Master Bedroom w/ Bath – this is the largest Bedroom with a connected Bathroom and is located upstairs. This contains a true King-sized bed and has ample dresser and night stand storage space. There are also two large closets in this Bedroom with plenty of hanging and storage space. The set of French Doors open onto the upstairs rear balcony. Sleeping capacity normally two, but some families have some of the smaller kids sometimes sleep with the parents.

|
Large Guest Bedroom – this is what we refer to as the 2nd Master Bedroom. It is located upstairs and contains a Queen-sized bed. There is a large dresser and a night stand for storage. The closet is smaller but can still contain a lot of hanging clothes. The set of French Doors open out onto the upstairs rear balcony. Sleeping capacity for this room is normally 2.
|
|
Third Bedroom / Bunk Room – this is the 3rd Bedroom located upstairs and contains several beds. The Bunk Beds consist of a regular sized bed on the bottom bunk and can sleep two people (if needed). The top bunk is a regular sized twin bed and sleeps one. Note the thickness of the bottom mattress is that of a normal bed. There is also an infant bed located in this room for a small child. The infant bed can be moved to any of the other bedrooms as needed. There is a dresser in this room along with closet / hanging space. Sleeping capacity for this bedroom is normally 3 to 4, depending on whether you are using the infant bed.

Downstairs Bedroom / Bunk Room –
this is the 4th Bedroom in the house and is
located downstairs next to the Game Room. There is a normal set of Bunk
Beds in this room that will sleep 2. Also in this bedroom is the
sleeper-sofa couch. This is a Queen-sized sofa pull-out and is actually
quite comfortable, with a normal sleeping capacity of 2. There is a dresser
and hanging closet space for this bedroom and it also has a connected
Bathroom.
The doors to this Bedroom are slide away to allow for this room to become part of the social / entertainment area during the day. At night, simply close and secure the doors. This bedroom is great for one of the family’s who want to keep the kids with them for the vacation or a great place to put 4 to 6 kids or more into one single location. This is also where the wood burning fireplace is located. |

Air Mattresses – we have two (2) Queen-sized air mattresses that are of decent quality (thickness) for sleeping. These are located in the Storage Area and there is an electronic pump for each of them. They are pretty simple to inflate and deflate. Linens and Pillows have been set aside in the upstairs Linen Closet in the Hallway for the air mattresses. I would recommend that when you are thru using them for the night that the next morning you deflate them and put them aside until each evening. That way you won’t be climbing over them or have the kids playing on them. We have had previous air mattresses acquire holes from such activity. You can place an air mattress in the large upstairs Guest Bedroom, you can place one in the 3rd upstairs bedroom (it is a little tight), you can also place one in the 4th bedroom or move either the foosball table or air hockey table to locate one in the Game Room area. Total sleeping capacity for the air mattresses is 4.

|
Living Room Couches – depending on your group, we have had large parties use the Couch and Loveseat in the Living Room for sleeping arrangements. Note that we have extra pillows, comforters, sheets, etc. for this. Mostly this area would be limited to either kids or a small adult. Sleeping capacity for the Living Room is 2.
| Crib and Play Pen – if you are bringing a small infant (baby), we also have a crib for your use. In addition, located in the Storage Room are 2 high chairs, a playpen, two strollers, a "walk-around", and a few other items that you may need. If you have any special requirements - please indicate that when making your reservation. | |||
|
|
Sleeping Bags – finally, we have two sleeping bags that can be used anywhere in the house. The sleeping bags are located in the Storage Area. There are extra pillows for their use located in the upstairs Linen or the Hallway closet areas.
|
Overall – there is ample sleeping arrangements for large
groups. I have had as many as 20 people (my relatives) camp out with air
mattresses, sleeping bags, etc. and we still had room and did not kill each
other. Depending on the weather, the kids sometimes like to sleep out on
the balconies on the air mattresses or sleeping bags. My only
recommendation is to “decide” before you get there. You don’t want the
kids fighting over the rooms. Also I have had some of my kids and relatives
actually enjoy switching around, staying in different areas of the house
during their vacation. That way everybody gets to sleep a few nights in
several neat places in the house. I would recommend taking the family and
having the whole group review the photos on the web site. That way you can
best plan your sleeping arrangements ahead of time.
